Planet Three Elevation raises structures and businesses above the floodplain, keeping you high and dry forever!

Permanent flood elimination | Lower cost than rebuilding | Decreased time of business disruption

Some commercial locations might need only drainage changes, but others might not have the ability to mitigate flooding for a business in these smaller ways. Our P3 construction teams have been able to help business owners fulfill the objectives of flood mitigation at a fraction of rebuilding costs.

Safely Lift Your Concrete Slab Building

There is a common misconception that you cannot elevate a concrete slab building safely without damage. It can be done, but it does take an expert on this type of elevation to prevent damage.

Elevating structures that are on grade (on the ground) or already above grade is routine for us. This is where a slab building structure typically resides. The entire slab is raised and all of the structure above the slab is lifted without disruption or modification.

Our teams elevate commercial structures using the Unified Jacking Method. Unified jacking allows large, heavy structures to be lifted intact as one piece. P3 does this by providing continuous points of structural support minimizing the risk of damage to your building.

Complicated Structures

Ways we’ve helped our commercial clients by lifting their structures:

  1. Permanent flood elimination
  2. Lower cost than rebuilding, and repeated rebuilding from multiple floods
  3. Decreased time of business disruption
  4. Simplified engineering and permitting requirements

It may seem impossible to lift or move complicated structures like retail stores, convenience stores, or gas stations. You might be surprised by what P3 can do!

Contact us about how we might be able to lift your building and commercial structures and help prevent future flooding and loss of business.

Featured Commercial Elevation Projects

100 Year Old Barn

P3 lifted this restored 100-year-old hay barn for the Closs family in Needville, Texas. Glad to help the third generation keep it safe by lifting it 5 feet higher than the pesky Brazos River floodplain.

Chevron Convenience Store

Not only was P3 able to elevate their convenience store 5 feet, but the pump area and parking lot are also elevated. In addition to the mitigation steps taken, we moved their C-Store back 35 feet to allow for immediate fuel business expansion. See more here: Saving Your Business From Flooding – Permanently
