What About Elevating My Porch, Patio, or Deck?

What About My Porch, Patio, or Deck?

We often share beautiful photos highlighting the front view of the homes we’ve elevated. The front of the home is usually the first thing you think of when you wonder how it might look when it’s done. When we meet with homeowners who are thinking about elevating their homes, we tend to hear questions about how we may work around features on the backside of the home. When you have a deck, you may want to know if it will be elevated to the same height. If you have a patio, you may want to know how you will exit the back door and walk down to it. If you have a long porch, you may wonder how that can also be elevated. With elevations that deal with these features, there will always be an option to make it work.

Many times, the final design gives the home a significant facelift.

With cascading stairs, deck railings, and ways to finish out the elevated base of the home, you won’t have to worry about how it will look or how to use that area once we are done.
